The 2023 Cheverly Day Music Schedule is:
1 PM: DMV Bluegrass Collective
The DMV Bluegrass Collective is composed of talented musicians who all play in multiple bluegrass projects throughout the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area.
They formed the Collective to play the traditional music they all love and share the music with a wider audience. They draw inspiration from a broad history of bluegrass—from pioneers like Bill Monroe, the Stanley Brothers, and Flatt & Scruggs, to Doc Watson and beyond.
Whether they’re playing as a quartet, quintet, or sextet, their mix of fiddle tunes, mountain and country music is meant to excite audiences and carry on the strong tradition of bluegrass in the DMV area.
